Summary:
This release helps ensure customers are notified when a messaging provider rejects an outbound message, directly in the conversation. It also introduces per-agent controls for compliance keyword auto-responses.
New Features
Know Instantly When a Message Doesn’t Send
When a messaging provider rejects a message, customers now see an immediate notification in the conversation thread. This makes it easier to understand what happened and take action quickly.
- Instant, in-thread notification whenever a provider rejects a message
- Clear explanations for known issues, beginning with opt-out language that does not match the registered campaign
- A clear generic notice for any other rejection, so no failed message ever goes unnoticed
- New tailored explanations can be added quickly as more rejection reasons are identified
Control Compliance Keyword Auto-Responses by Agent
Customers can now enable or disable automated replies to supported compliance keywords, such as opt-out requests, for each individual agent. This gives teams more flexibility when managing multiple brands or programs with different messaging needs.
Compliance keyword processing remains unchanged; turning the setting off only suppresses the automated reply.
- Per-agent on/off control for compliance keyword auto-responses, available now via the Enrich API
- Supports all current compliance keywords, with room to add more over time
- Compliance processing is always preserved -- only the automated reply is suppressed when turned off
A self-service portal control is planned for a future update
Improvements
We’ve made behind-the-scenes updates to improve the reliability of compliance keyword settings, including how on/off controls are reported and validated.
