Should I be worried my answer rate went down?

    Sometimes answer rates go down with branded calling, sometimes they go up and sometimes they stay the same. Branded calling just tells the callees who you are, if they don’t recognize you, don’t think your offer is an immediate need, or any number of other reasons they just might not answer.

    • For example, if my child’s school calls in the middle of the day, even if I’m in a meeting, I might excuse myself to answer that call. Even if I don’t, I’ll probably call back the moment I leave the meeting.
    • However, if I get a call from my gym, I’m not going to answer. I might call them back after the meeting, I might wait until after work.
    • If I get a call from a car dealership I’ve never been to and I rely on public transit, I’m never calling that car company back.
