Delta Sharing provides secure, read-only access to AFFIRM reporting data, which can be loaded into dataframes, BI tools, data lakes, pipelines, or custom applications.
Clients receive a secure link from First Orion containing their Delta Sharing profile and authentication details. They then configure their environment by installing the Delta Sharing client or library and connect to begin querying AFFIRM data.
Once enabled, First Orion provides secure credentials that allow systems to connect directly to AFFIRM datasets. These credentials typically include a Delta Sharing URL, authentication configuration, and supporting metadata required to establish the connection.
AFFIRM data is updated hourly, and clients can retrieve the data as often as needed to support automation or scheduled ingestion. Additionally, historical data is available for up to 90 days, and users can use Delta Sharing to query historical data.
