How do I delete a phone number from my account?

    Phone Numbers may be deleted at any time.

     

    1. Click Manage.
    2. Click Delete Phone Numbers.

     

    Manual Deletion

    Manual deletion is the default process for deleting phone numbers.

    1. Confirm Manual is underlined with the blue line.
    2. Enter the phone number to be deleted. A green checkmark will confirm the number has been entered correctly.
    3. Click Add to Delete List.
    4. Click Delete.
    5. Click Ok.

    A pop-up will display the deleted phone number or numbers under the Removed Numbers section, along with a total count. Any rejected numbers will be displayed, along with a total count and a reason for rejection, under the Rejected Numbers section.

    NOTE: You will receive an error message if any numbers are rejected. Double-check the number and call purpose. If you need assistance, please click on the Support button at the bottom of the page. Typically, a number will be rejected if it has been formatted incorrectly or if the number already exists elsewhere in the Customer Portal. 

    Batch CSV File Deletion

    1. Create a Template for Submission. A total of 500 numbers may be submitted via a single CSV file. Submit using the following guidelines:
      • Two columns, no headers, maximum 500 rows
      • First column: no spaces, a phone number in the format of exactly +1XXXXXXXXXX or XXXXXXXXXX
      • Second column: call purpose with one of the following options
        • Charity, Customer Service, Debt Collection, Informational/Notification, Multi-Use Line, Political, Prison, Survey, Telemarketing, Do Not Originate
        • WARNING: Do Not Originate should only be selected if the number will not make outbound calls.
    2. Fill in the template with the phone numbers and their call purpose to submit for deletion.
    3. Upload the Completed Template
    4. Upload the CSV file template in the Customer Portal by drage and dropping the CSV file or select the Choose from computer option.
      • Drag & Drop
        • Select the completed and saved template from downloads in the File Explorer
        • Drag the file from the File Explore to the Customer Portal drop area using your mouse.
        • Drop the file into the Customer Portal box

    5. Complete Phone Number Deletion: After uploading the numbers to be deleted, either via Drag and Drop or Choose from Computer, the deleted Phone Numbers will display on the Customer Poral Page along with a total count.
    6. Confirm Total Phone Numbers to Delete is correct.
    7. Review uploaded phone numbers for deletion, if desired.

    9. Click OK.
