Our database continuously evaluates network call data. Based on various characteristics of phone number activity, First Orion determines an appropriate risk level to indicate in real-time if the phone number is legitimate or if based on previous calling behavior is likely to be a spam or scam call.
Here’s the API flow:

Your business sends First Orion an API request for the calling number, the called-number and the timestamp of the call.

First Orion analyzes the call information and scores the risk level of the calling number.

First Orion responds to the API request with a risk level (high, medium or low) and the category/call purpose if known.
