    What is INFORM Branded Calling?

    INFORM Branded Calling gives you up to 32 characters of customizable text that will be displayed on your outbound business calls and in the call log of called devices.

     

    What are the benefits of INFORM?

    INFORM Branded Calling lets you brand your calls on all major US carriers; letting people know that it is you calling. Businesses see a variety of positive benefits from branded calling. When customers know who's calling, they confidently engage in the call, leading to more positive outcomes. In addition to branded calls, INFORM customers have access to call analytics that allow you to track positive outcomes and report back ROI for your business.

     

    What is the difference between INFORM and caller ID?

    Caller ID is only available to a fraction of mobile customers and pulls a business name for your organization from a database that is limited to 15 characters. You have no control over how your name appears on caller ID.

    INFORM Branded Calling is a service that allows businesses (like yours) to customize up to 32 characters of text on your outbound business calls to let people know who is calling and why when you include the reason for calling in your custom display. With INFORM, your brand can be displayed on devices on all 3 major US carriers and select Canadian subscribers.

     

    What carrier networks show my branded calls?

    INFORM Branded Calling delivers branded calls to devices on the T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon Networks in the US and Rogers Communications in Canada. Enterprise clients have the option to brand only to specific networks and some enterprise products are only available on specific networks.

     

    What name is appropriate for my branded call?

    Display Names must include one of the following:

    • Your US legally registered business name or DBA
    • Your trademarked brand name is commonly used by your business
    • A department or agent name may be added but only after your business or brand name

    Branded calling names must abide by all First Orion’s Policy for Branded Calling.

     

    How often are reports updated? 

    INFORM Branded Calling customers have access to call analytics to understand how your branded calls are performing. These reports are accessible in First Orion's Customer Portal and are updated the day after the call activity occurs.

     

    What calls are counted as branded? Are unanswered calls counted towards our reported totals of branded calls?

    Any call that is delivered to an end-user with your brand is counted towards your report totals, whether it is answered or not.

    If your call is tagged as spam or scam, the brand is not delivered to the end-user, and it does not count towards reported totals of branded calls.

     

    How do I add my logo to outbound calls?

    Do I need to do something to enable branding?

    To ensure your calls are being branded, your business and business phone numbers must be registered and you need to set up your calling program in the portal.

    Note: Branding is enabled by network. Please review the timeline below for branding expectations after the program is set up. 

    • T-Mobile: same day
    • AT&T: 6-8 business days
    • Verizon: 1-2 business days
